Manolo Blahnik was established by the famous shoemaker Manolo Blahnik who was born in Span in 1972. He had study language and arts in Geneva. In 1968, he went to Paris and determined to be a designer.
Before he started his own fashion label, he visited the Vogue editor, Diana Vreeland and showed her his design; Diana appreciated his talents and encouraged him to continue his style. He visited many shoe companies and his women shoes design was applied by the renowned designer Ossie Clark and asked him to release his own collections. Since then, his business went into the right track.

Manolo Blahnik was a legendary in fashion world; he was named as the greatest shoe-maker in the world. No matter how much a pair of Manolo shoes cost, their newly updated shoes must be sold out in a few weeks. There are many people who would like to spend four hundred Ponds in a pair of Manolo shoes. As Manolo himself said, “What we are talking about is the traditional hand-made shoes. Of course it was a little expensive, but it is not excessive.”

He is a real shoe-maker and even makes the shoe trees on himself. He had drawn many picture drafts of his designs which became the original version of their advertisement and have been published in many magazines around the world.
